commercial font

experimental font using well-known company logos — the symbols of ‹western capitalism› — as letters.

text written with it is astonishingly legible. we are all very familiar with the logos of brands in our culture. it would be interesting to test the code on socially isolated groups — probably it would not work. i also wonder about the longevity of some of these symbols.

i not only used logos of companies, but also logos of institutions like unicef and the wwf. it is interesting that these non profit organisations appear so similar to the commercial companies.
