this type design project started in the typography class
at the hgk basel. the assignment was to design a font for the city of
basel.
completely new to basel, i had a look at the architecture in the city
and noticed that there is a lot of renaissance and gothic architecture.
therefore, i decided to mix those two styles in my typeface.
afterwards, i did an extensive exploration of possible transformations
from the basic typeface. i am still working occasionally on this font
– it will be finished one fine day...
