hä? magazine

the health magazine without taboos is made for young readers, starting at the age of 16 years. every issue adresses one topic about the human body, e.g. tattoos & piercings or beauty. it is published and distributed by rotpunkt apotheken pharmacies in switzerland.

since the beginning, we are responsible for concept, art direction, design and visual storytelling. the overall appearance is very much inspired by punk fanzines from the 70’s/80’s: handwriting, photocopied and pasted articles and no design grid. due to the newspaper printing, it has a very rough and warm feel.

a trademark of the magazine is its direct and fresh photography style. over the course of soon 40 issues (and still counting), we’ve been able to work with and art direct some of the most talented photographers, artists and illustrators.
